The Tricky Nature of Healing Shame

Posted: 2019-04-03

Shame is a feeling of being wrong at the core. If you feel shame, you feel you are the cause of others rejecting behavior towards you. You may often feel inadequate in most if not all situations and circumstances in your daily life. It is a rejection that you place on yourself at the core of your being. When this rejection is placed on oneself, what is at the core for you? Take some time to understand what shame means and how it has affected you. Shame can be a disconnection with knowing or acceptance of your true self. Shame is a very negative energy that has many layers and very easily pulls us down. It is something that many people don’t realize they experience. It is sneaky, and when present can present itself as other feelings and experiences such as embarrassment, unworthiness, and not being good enough or not doing something right....[Read More]

Battle of the Minds: A Strategy for Inner Peace

Posted: 2018-12-01

We are of two minds at any given moment – one wired to defend itself from any perceived attack, the other ready and willing to embrace all that life has to offer with strength, love, acceptance. Stinking thinking; we’ve all heard it. We’ve all done it. Our minds are brilliant at creating stories. We are inherently wired to fill in the gaps to make sense of our surroundings. Our perceptions are not reality and often our perceptions cause unnecessary suffering. Our way of thinking is more than enough stimuli to set in motion the primitive fight or flight response. Perceptions are largely based on subconscious core programming designed to ensure our survival. We have the ability to transcend this dynamic. Practicing the steps outlined below the next time you find yourself in pain due to your perception of an event could bring you back to a state of peace:

The following procedure is taken from The Biology of Transcendence: A Blueprint of the Human Spirit by Joseph Chilton Pearce

  1. Recognize when a stressful event is shaping up or taking place a...[Read more]

What is a Chakra?

Posted: 2018-05-30

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel, or vortex, and it refers to each of the seven main energy centers of which our consciousness, our energy system, is composed.

These chakras, or energy centers, function as pumps or valves, regulating the flow of energy through our energy system by rotating the flow of energy in a clockwise direction. The functioning of the chakras reflects decisions we make concerning how we choose to respond to conditions in our life. We open and close these valves when we decide what to think, and what to feel, and how we choose to perceive and experience the world around us.

The chakras are not physical, per say. They are aspects of our consciousness similarly like our auras are aspects of our consciousness. The chakras are more dense than the auras,...click to read the full article.
